SaiJai Tech participated in hands-on interoperability testing and technical discussions to advance practical Wi‑Fi HaLow and IoT applications.

From August 3–6, 2026, Mr. Visit Wiangnak represented SaiJai Tech Co., Ltd. at the “Wi‑Fi HaLow and IoT Interoperability Event & Roundtable Discussion” in Taipei, Taiwan. The event was jointly organized by Wi‑Fi Alliance, the Cloud Computing and IoT Association in Taiwan (CIAT), and the 802.11ah Promotion Council (AHPC).

The event brought together device manufacturers, solution providers, and technical experts from across the Wi‑Fi HaLow and IoT ecosystem for hands-on interoperability testing, technical validation, and collaborative discussions focused on real-world deployment.

Participants conducted three days of interoperability testing involving devices from multiple vendors. The final day was dedicated to reviewing the results, sharing technical observations, discussing implementation challenges, and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.

Based on the IEEE 802.11ah standard, Wi‑Fi HaLow operates in sub‑1 GHz spectrum. It is designed to provide long-range coverage, stronger penetration through obstacles, low-power operation, and reliable connectivity for large numbers of IoT devices. These capabilities make it particularly relevant in locations where conventional Wi‑Fi coverage may be limited or difficult to deploy.

For community-focused solutions, Wi‑Fi HaLow can support environmental monitoring, smart agriculture, equipment tracking, area surveillance, and intelligent infrastructure. Its extended coverage can help sensors, cameras, and field devices transmit data across wider areas while reducing network deployment complexity and enabling faster access to information for operational decision-making.

SaiJai Tech’s participation provided an opportunity to examine Wi‑Fi HaLow devices and solutions from across the ecosystem while exchanging insights on connectivity, cross-vendor compatibility, and practical considerations for field deployment.

The technical knowledge and experience gained from the event will support the company’s evaluation and development of Wi‑Fi HaLow-enabled IoT solutions, with a focus on reliable, wide-area connectivity suited to communities and field environments in Thailand.
