rom May 27–30, 2026, an executive from SaiJai Tech Co., Ltd. presented research on a real-time flash-flood monitoring and early-warning system at IEEE ECTI-CON 2026, held at Amari Bangsaen in Chonburi, Thailand.
The 23rd International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology brought together researchers, specialists, and professionals from different countries to exchange knowledge and present advances in engineering and applied technology.
The research builds upon the evolution of an IoT monitoring system into an AIoT-based solution. It combines field measurements with camera imagery to monitor changing conditions, assess potential risks, and support real-time flash-flood alerts.
The system was designed, developed, and deployed in rural communities in Chiang Mai and Chumphon to evaluate its performance under real-world conditions. Its information can help residents, community leaders, and relevant authorities gain earlier awareness, improve preparedness, and make informed decisions before conditions become critical.
The presentation provided an opportunity to share lessons from practical implementation and exchange perspectives with international researchers and specialists. Feedback from the conference will support further improvements to ensure that the system remains relevant to different environments and community needs.
